My Story

I have always had a creative side. I have tried my hand at many different crafts and hobbies but found my true passion making handmade cold processed soap and other wonderful body products. From selecting the colours, choosing the perfect scent, creating the design, I thoroughly enjoy it all. It’s therapy for me, my little escape from the everyday grind. For years I battled sensitive skin and nothing I found on the market seemed to help. By making my own products and controlling the ingredients, I no longer suffer. At Oak Rose Creations, we are committed to using the best quality ingredients to create the perfect product just for you! I know you will enjoy them as much as I do.

Luxury Soap Bars

Once you have used handmade natural soap, it's hard to go back to using commercial 'soap'. And why would you? Our luxury soap bars are cold processed from scratch in small batches using olive oil, coconut oil, shea butter, sweet almond oil, and castor oil. They leave your skin feeling clean without stripping away the skin's natural moisture.

Whipped Body Butters

Unlike lotions, body butters penetrate deep into your skin, hydrating for hours. Body butters are also high in nutritious vitamins and fatty acids. Our whipped body butters are made with cocoa butter, shea butter, coconut oil, apricot kernel oil, arrowroot powder, and vitamin E. The addition of arrowroot powder leaves your skin feeling silky smooth and helps the oils and butters absorb more quickly.

Fizzy Bath Pucks

Relax, soak and unwind. Need a great way to enhance your bath? Soothe aching muscles and hydrate your skin? Indulge with one of our Fizzy Bath Pucks. Made with sodium carbonate, citric acid, magnesium sulfate, grapeseed oil, slsa, polysorbate 80, kaolin clay, cream of tartar, fragrance, and skin safe mica for colour.

Sugar Scrubs

Sugar scrubs are great for exfoliating your skin. They aid in keeping it healthy by removing dead skin cells, lifting away dirt and excess oils. The result? Silky soft moisturized skin with minimal effort. Our sugar scrubs are made with granulated sugar, coconut oil, fragrance, vitamin E and optiphen plus.

Body Lotion

Lotions maintain the skin's hydration levels by locking in the moisture, keeping the skin healthy and soft. Our lotions contain Shea butter, vegetable glycerin, Apricot kernel oil, sweet almond oil, and colloidal oatmeal. Shea butter, glycerin, and oils contain vitamins and fatty acids to increase skin hydration, relieve dryness, and refresh the skin's surface. Colloidal oatmeal binds to your skin and locks in moisture, giving your skin a chance to rehydrate. It also softens your skin and soothes itching.

Our body lotion can provide a nice and light scent. This means you’ll be able to smell nice while moisturizing your skin.

Soy Wax candles and melts

Want to add a wonderful fragrance to your house? Try our Soy Wax Candles and wax melts. Oak Rose Creations uses 100% soy wax for all of our candles and melts. Soy wax is made from environmentally friendly, renewable resources; whereas classic paraffin wax is made from petroleum and is non-renewable.

Since soy wax is a natural product, you may notice slight variations in the wax as you burn your candle. All of this is normal and expected when choosing a soy candle.

While all candles emit some black soot while burning, candles made from soy wax burn cleaner and as a result produce less soot and toxic chemicals. Our Soy wax candles are also made with wooden wicks. Wooden wicks create a beautiful crackling sound while burning and burn more evenly and cleanly than cotton wicks. Wood wick candles also make less soot than conventional wicks. A double win! Both our candles and wax melts are hand poured in small batches to ensure quality.

Wax melts are similar to candles, but they are wickless. Unlike candles, you need to use a wax warmer to melt the wax and release its aromas. Wax warmers can be a safer alternative if you choose not to burn candles as you can purchase flameless warmers. Each soy wax melt comes with 6 cubes which also allows you to control the amount of fragrance you desire.

Lip Balm

Are your lips chapped, peeling or cracked? Rehydrate them with our soothing lip balms. Our balms are not too waxy and not overly scented. Apply to lips when needed to soothe and rehydrate.

Keep it out of direct sunlight to avoid melting. Store at room temperature in a dry place.

Made with coconut oil, beeswax, sunflower seed oil, and sweet almond oil.
